Welcome to the Escanaba City Assessor’s page. Although we have many duties required by law, we believe that helping people with questions or concerns is of greatest importance. City Hall is open from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm ET and by e-mail at any time (assessor@escanaba.org). On this website you may find forms that you need, check out property taxes you owe or have paid, get some information on primary residence (homestead) and other exemptions, or check out millage rates and other pieces of information. But, if you don’t find answers to your questions here, please call us at 906.786.9402. If we are available when you call, we will answer directly, but, if we are not, it’s okay to leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible. You can also reach us by mail at PO Box 948, Escanaba MI 49829 or by FAX at 906.786.4755.
