Recreation Soccer Program

SOCCER

CITY OF ESCANABA - 6 & 7 YEAR OLD INSTRUCTIONAL SOCCER LEAGUE

For boys and girls 6 & 7 years of age. Register at the Civic Center through June 14 or until sessions are full (20 MAX). The league play will be held June 20 - July 21. Choose either Mon & Wed or Tue & Thurs play days for a 5 week period. Sessions will be offered at 9:00 - 10:00am and 10:30 - 11:30 am. Play will be held at the Ludington Park Soccer Field. Registration fee is $22.00 for each child which includes a Recreation Department Soccer T-Shirt. Call the Recreation Department at 786-4141 for more information.

BAYSIDE SOCCER LEAGUE

For boys and girls 8 through 15 years of age. Register at the Civic Center through May 25th or until maximum number of registrants is recieved. This League depends on parent volunteers to be successful. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Recreation Department at 786-4141. The Bayside Soccer League is looking for administrative assistance, coaches and referees in order to provide a successful soccer league. Play will be conducted at the Ludington Park Soccer Field and the Escanaba High School from July 5th - August 16th. Cost is $30 per child which includes soccer jersey and socks. EXCEL SOCCER CAMP

Held June 13 - 17, 2005. Registration deadline May 28th. Camp includes group and one-on-one instruction on fundamental and advanced soccer skills and techniques. Sessions will be from 9:30 - 12:30 pm. Registration forms available at the Civic Center. For information call 428-4659.
