BEGINNER GROUP TENNIS LESSONS - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Eight sessions to select from; To be conducted Monday through Thursday am or afternoon; June 16-19; June 23-26; June 30 - July 3; and July 7-10 for elementary school students ages 8 through 12 years; students may register at the Civic Center through Friday prior to each session; class fee is $15.00 which includes a total of six hours instruction and tennis balls; students must provide own racket. Rackets available if you do not have your own; Contact: Recreation Department at 786-4141.

Four sessions to select from; To be conducted Monday through Thursday; June 16-19; June 23-26; June 30 - July 3; and July 7-10 for Junior High School age students; students may register at the Civic Center through Friday prior to each session; class fee is $15.00 which includes a total of six hours instruction and tennis balls; Students must provide own racket. INTERMEDIATE GROUP TENNIS LESSONS - JUNIOR & SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Four sessions to select from; To be conducted Monday through Thursday; June 16-19; June 23-26; June 30 - July 3; and July 7-10 for High School and Junior High students who want to improve their tennis skills; students may register at the Civic Center through Friday prior to each session; class fee is $15.00 which includes a total of six hours instruction and tennis balls; Students must provide own racket; Rackets available if you do not have your own; Contact: Recreation Department at 786-4141.

 

ESCANABA TENNIS LEAGUE - HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Escanaba Tennis League, an adult league, welcomes high school age players to join the league.  Divisions will be made up of players of comparable ability. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles play; Register at the Civic Center. Contact: Recreation Department at 786-4141.

 

MICHIGAN-WISCONSIN TENNIS OPEN - 58th ANNUAL

Upper Peninsula's largest and oldest tennis tournament scheduled for Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2004, with tournament headquarters in Ludington Park in the pavilion. Registration forms available at the Recreation Department Office. Various skill levels and age divisions for youth players; Contact: Recreation Department at 786-4141.
