Youth Activities at the Civic Center
5th - 12th Grade Birthday Package The Civic Center Birthday Package includes room rental, open gym use and open game room use for a cost of $35.00. The room rental provides an area for food, cake and ice cream and opening presents. Children must be in grades 5 - 12. Please call for available times. Parents are required to actively supervise students participants during the party sessions. Birthday Parties limited to two (2) hours with a maximum of 30 children per party. 5th/6th Grade Basketball League Open to 5th & 6th grade boys and girls from the Escanaba and Holy Name Schools. Register at your school principal's office beginning December 19, 2005.
6th Grade Girls Intramural Volleyball Open to 6th grade girls from the Escanaba and Holy Name Schools. Register at your school principal's office beginning January 2006. Games held Thursdays from 1/12 - 2/16 at the Civic Center.
Junior High School Student Dances Junior High/7th & 8th Grade Holy Name Dances will be scheduled several times throughout the school year at the Civic Center. Watch for flyers and posters at your school!
SAFE NIGHT Safe Night is a violence and drug and alcohol prevention program involving community and volunteer organizations in the Escanaba area. Eleven highly successful Safe Night programs have been offered since June 1999. Watch for announcements at your school for the next Safe Night. Open to students enrolled in grades 6 through 9. Register at the Civic Center. Pre-Registration is required. Information
