Election Information

City Municipal Elections are held every odd year November, the first Tuesday, following the first Monday in November.

May 7, 2024                   Special Election

August 6, 2024            Primary Election

November 5, 2024      General Election

Registration Deadlines:

April 22, 2024 - Deadline to register by mail or online and be eligible to vote for the May election.

April 23 through 8:00 p.m. on May 7, 2024 - In-person registration with local clerk with proof of residency.

Important Dates:

By 4:00 p.m., April 26, 2024 - Electors may submit written requests to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot via First Class mail.

By 4:00 p.m., April 26, 2024 - Electors who have returned their absent voter ballot may submit written request in person to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot in the clerk's office.

By 4:00 p.m., May 3, 2024 - Electors may obtain an absent voter ballot via First Class mail.

Up to 4:00 p.m., May 3, 2024 - Electors who have lost their absent voter ballot or not yet received their ballot in the mail may submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot by mail.

Up to 4:00 p.m., May 6, 2024 - Electors who have lost their absent voter ballot or not yet received their ballot in the mail may submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot in the clerk's office.

Up to 8:00 p.m., May 7, 2024 - Election Day registrants may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot in person in the local clerk's office or vote in person in the proper precinct.
