City of Escanaba Recreation Survey

Your input is crucial to the development of the 2027-2032 City of Escanaba Recreation Plan. These survey results will be incorporated into the final recreation plan.

Election Information

City Municipal Elections are held every odd year November, the first Tuesday, following the first Monday in November.

State and Federal Election Information can be obtained by contacting the Michigan State Bureau of Elections

 

Election Dates:

August 4, 2026      Primary Election

Registration Deadlines:

July 20, 2026 - Deadline to register by mail or online and be eligible to vote for the August election.

July 21 through 8:00 p.m. on August 4, 2026 - In-person registration with the local clerk with proof of residency.

Important Dates:

By 4:00 p.m., July 24, 2026 - Electors may submit written requests to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot by mail.

By 4:00 p.m., July 24, 2026 - Electors who have returned their absent voter ballot may submit a written request in person to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new ballot in the clerk's office.

Early Voting: TBD

By 4:00 p.m., July 31, 2026 - Electors may obtain an absent voter ballot via First Class mail.

Up to 4:00 p.m., July 31, 2026 - Electors who have lost their absent voter ballot or have not yet received it in the mail may submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new one by mail.

Up to 4:00 p.m., August 3, 2026 - Electors who have lost their absent voter ballot or have not yet received it in the mail may submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new one in the clerk's office.

Up to 8:00 p.m., August 4, 2026 - Election Day registrants may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot in person in the local clerk's office or vote in person in the proper precinct.
