The 19 member crew of the Public Works Department is responsible for 82 miles of street maintenance throughout the City, including:

• Snow Plowing and Ice Control
• Road Construction
• Concrete Sidewalks, Crosswalks, and Curbs
• Sweeping
• Leaf Collection
• Storm Sewer and Drainage Structures
• Signs, Painting, and Pavement Markings

Other responsibilities of the department include:

• Alleys
• City Parks
• City Buildings
• City Equipment and Vehicles
• Garbage and Recycle Collection
